Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
Finalize trial balances efficiently and accurately
Reconcile all bank, credit card, and loan accounts with written variance explanations
Ensure accurate revenue recognition for recurring contracts and service agreements
Maintain program audit
Import bank transactions using .QBO and .CSV formatting
Maintain and optimize chart of accounts
Manage customer and vendor accounts
Implement automation where possible to improve financial workflows
Maintain clean and structured financial reporting systems
Process payroll accurately and on time
Manage cash flow forecasting
Monitor AR and AP cycles
Identify financial bottlenecks before they become problems
Provide weekly or bi-weekly financial health updates to leadership
Develop annual operating budgets
Perform revenue projections for recurring service contracts
Support tax planning strategies in coordination with CPA
Conduct break-even and contribution margin analysis by service line
Build financial dashboards using Excel
Create charts and visual financial reports for leadership
Track KPIs such as: Revenue per client, Gross margin per service line, Client acquisition cost (if data available), Operating expense ratios, Net profit trends
Perform variance analysis between budget and actual performance
Establish internal financial controls
Document accounting SOPs
Coordinate with external CPA and tax advisors
Follow all GAAP guidelines
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of continuous accounting experience
