Role Overview
- Ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operation of plant machinery and utilities
- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for plant equipment
- Ensure minimum downtime through effective breakdown management
- Monitor critical equipment performance and take corrective actions
- Coordinate with production team for maintenance planning and shutdown activities
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spares consumption
- Oversee maintenance of utilities such as Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Air Compressors, Nitrogen Systems, ETP/STP, etc.
- Ensure uninterrupted utility supply to production
- Monitor energy consumption and implement cost-saving initiatives
- Plan and monitor critical spares inventory
- Optimize maintenance cost while ensuring reliability
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for major breakdowns
- Drive equipment reliability and plant uptime improvement
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation
- 5–8 years of experience in maintenance within chemical/pharma/process manufacturing industry
- Supervisory Responsibilities Yes
