Gerontopsychiatric Specialist

Role Overview

• Provide individualized basic and treatment nursing care, including gerontopsychiatric care, for residents
• Provide individualized support and stimulating daily activities for residents
• Document the nursing process for each resident (medication administration, care records, etc.)
• Ensure quality of care together with the on-site team
• Provide a listening ear to residents and their relatives

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a certified nursing professional (e.g., geriatric nurse and/or registered health and nursing care nurse)
• Additional training in gerontopsychiatry
• Team player with empathy in dealing with residents and colleagues
• Willingness to work across all shifts (including evenings, nights, weekends)
• Basic IT skills / comfort with digital documentation systems
