About this role
Role Overview
- Planning and conducting wound rounds
- Wound documentation and completing the wound assessment
- Optimal wound prevention
- Avoidance or minimization of pain for residents
- Supporting treating physicians with conventional wound care
- Training nursing staff in wound care and infection prevention
- Individualized basic and treatment nursing care of residents
- Documentation of the care process (medication administration, care logs)
- Collaboration with the team to ensure quality of care
- Providing a listening ear for residents and their relatives
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a registered nurse, geriatric nurse and/or health and nursing care nurse with additional wound management qualification
- Team player with empathy in dealing with residents and colleagues
- Independent, solution-oriented working style
- Willingness to work all shifts
- Basic IT affinity
