Role Overview
- Design, develop, produce, and advise on a variety of internal and external communication materials and media for the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC)
- Develop creative solutions to complex problems
- Shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to deliver high quality intelligence products
- Oversee and author various intelligence products and content
- Inform key audiences through products and various tools
- Clarify and verify technical information in support of the DoD or IC
Requirements
- Experience with writing and editing professional products for multiple audiences
- Knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and style guides
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet often tight deadlines
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- HS diploma or GED and 12+ years of experience with technical editing in a DoD or IC environment, or Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience with technical editing in a DoD or IC environment
