About this role
Role Overview
Serve as the primary contact for assigned distributors, conducting regular outreach to monitor inventory levels and ensure long-term loyalty
Identify and prospect new leads, reactivate dormant accounts, and execute upselling/cross-selling strategies based on purchase history
Assist distributors with OEM part cross-referencing and provide technical guidance on machine compatibility (e.g., voltages and sizing)
Educate distributors on New Product Introductions (NPI) for aftermarket floorcare parts
Generate bulk-order quotes, manage backorder communications, and coordinate with customer service and plant departments to ensure on-time delivery
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience preferred
Proven track record in Inside Sales or Account Management
Industry experience in industrial floorcare, janitorial supply, or equipment parts is highly preferred
Ability to learn and discuss technical specifications and OEM cross-referencing
Expert in CRM usage and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
SAP experience is a plus
Strong 'hunting' and closing skills, excellent verbal/written communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
