Role Overview
- Professional care of chronic and/or hard-to-heal wounds
- Digital wound documentation
- Advising, supporting and educating patients and their family members
- Close collaboration with other professionals involved in wound care to ensure optimal patient care
- Ensuring prescription and supply management
- Managing and expanding the existing patient/client base
- Compliance with legal regulations and guidelines
Requirements
- State-recognized qualification as a registered nurse, pediatric nurse, geriatric nurse, or qualified nursing professional
- Previous experience in wound care is an advantage but not required
- Completed further training as a wound care specialist, or willingness to undertake such training
- Strong communication skills and a good understanding of patients' needs
- Reliable and responsible work ethic
- Valid Class B driver's license (car)
