Role Overview
Connect product category plans with sales channels ensuring alignment on product strategy
Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics, build business cases for new products
Partner with teams in engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, marketing, and sales
Evaluate in-market performance to identify opportunities for enhancement and rationalization
Develop business cases for new product opportunities based on consumer insights and market gaps
Leverage market research and trend analysis to inform strategic decisions
Collaborate with marketing and sales to create compelling launch strategies and product messaging
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; High school diploma required
Minimum 7 years of experience in product management, category management, or merchandising, ideally within consumer goods, automotive, or related industries
Proven experience managing multi-channel and multi-tiered distribution models (eCommerce, retail, wholesale)
Strong background in product lifecycle management, including product development, pricing strategy, and launch execution
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects from ideation to launch
Financial acumen and experience managing P&L or EBITDA-driven category metrics
