Ensure stable and on-time production for the chemical and MCP operations and their tantalum and niobium products
Leadership responsibility for approx. 30 employees
Develop and implement production, maintenance and engineering strategies based on lean production principles
Calculate future capacities and costs (long-term planning)
Participate in the full employee lifecycle (onboarding to offboarding, employee motivation, etc.)
Identify needs for employee training
Monitor market trends
Initiate and take responsibility for CAPEX projects and manage requests within your area of responsibility
Define required staffing and material resources
Monitor performance indicators and production processes and adjust plans as needed
Monitor and document costs, quality and inventories
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety and legal requirements, taking into account the handling of NORM materials and their residues
Take responsibility for new processes
Sustainably maintain and procure replacement production equipment in line with the latest technological developments and trends
Take responsibility for a continuous improvement process
Contribute to product and process development
Support application engineering, sales and marketing, and advise internal and external customers
Responsibility for cost centers and cost center management
Requirements
Degree in a natural science or engineering discipline with a focus on process engineering/chemical engineering, or equivalent qualifications (e.g., Meister/Technician with relevant professional experience)
At least 5–10 years’ professional experience in the metal-processing or chemical manufacturing industry
Deep knowledge of operational production methodologies (lean production)
Strong leadership skills and leadership presence
Very good German and good English language skills
Excellent facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills
