Write, record, and edit audio for broadcast news stories
Write and publish news content for web and social media
Prepare and anchor newscasts as assigned
Requirements
College degree in journalism or 3–5 years of broadcast news experience
Strong passion for news, natural curiosity, and excellent interviewing skills
Exceptional comprehension, writing, and editing abilities with a contemporary writing style
Advanced pronunciation, spelling, and on‑air language skills
Clear, engaging voice with personable, modern delivery
Strong storytelling instincts
Solid technical aptitude and ability to learn new tools quickly
Experience with web publishing and social media
Knowledge of audio recording, editing, and selecting sound for news
