Organize, coordinate and independently carry out work processes
Prepare the operating theatre before and after surgical procedures
Prepare operations, including surgical instruments
Perform circulating/runner duties before, during and after surgery
Assist with surgical instrumentation across various specialties
Competently operate and be familiar with medical devices and materials
Responsible for hygiene measures and aseptic technique
Perform administrative tasks
Requirements
Secondary school leaving certificate (e.g., Realschulabschluss) or completion of another ten-year school education, or lower secondary school certificate (Hauptschulabschluss) with a completed vocational training (minimum two years)
Qualification as a nursing assistant or geriatric nursing assistant with at least one year of training
Medical fitness/health suitability
At least 16 years old at the start of training
