Consult with clients, other HRBPs, and HR partner groups to effectively execute on people strategy, HR processes, and reporting
Partner with clients to build effective relationships, effectively manage stakeholders, and understand business imperatives to execute on HR solutions that are aligned to the business needs
Consult with associates, managers, and HR partners who require assistance on HR-related issues
Coach people managers on situations including general leadership skills (leveraging Capital One’s Include/Empower/Inspire framework), org design, performance concerns
Provide strategic consulting and workforce planning to client groups within Underwriting & Portfolio Management and delivering an HR strategy that is aligned with the business needs
Support the planning and delivery of core HR processes ranging from performance & talent management, leadership development, to change management and organizational design
Support senior leaders on key areas such as building an inclusive and diverse team, creating a culture of belonging, and acting as a sounding board for all associates to encourage cross pollination, collaboration, and high performance
Requirements
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 4 years of client facing experience OR at least 4 years of consulting experience OR a combination
At least 4 years of experience in Human Resources
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience (Preferred)
Professional Human Resources Certification or Senior Professional Human Resources certification or coaching certification (Preferred)
5+ years of client facing experience or 5+ years of consulting experience or a combination (Preferred)
5+ years of experience in Human Resources or Human Capital Consulting (Preferred)
