Analyse and develop tailored financing solutions for international private banking clients
Evaluate both standard and complex/unusual loans
Assess loan applications for mortgages and Lombard loans
Process approval documentation and authorize loan agreements
Advise Relationship Managers on credit structuring and credit solutions, including unit‑linked insurance products
Independently handle and execute complex credit transactions
Present credit risk exposures to senior management, perform viability/affordability analyses and other due‑diligence reviews
Analyse loan collateral, including portfolio analysis, approval and review of loan‑to‑value ratios
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Maintain legal documentation and prepare bespoke documentation when required, in cooperation with Legal & Compliance
Regularly review mortgages, property valuations and registration procedures
Set up credit monitoring tools and perform regular monitoring, oversight and control of credit risk, including margin management and enforcement of relevant policies.
Requirements
Degree or professional qualification in banking or finance
Knowledge of a bank’s mortgage and Lombard lending businesses
Ability to understand clients’ commercial and credit situations
Analytical mindset
Critical and independent risk assessment skills
Ability to defend credit standards robustly while remaining solution‑oriented and entrepreneurial
Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines and to high quality standards
Ability to multitask
Strong IT aptitude and advanced proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
