Assists clients with coverage changes in an automated environment supported by an imaging system; determines whether delayed or advanced billing is appropriate and invoices accordingly.
Uses each client contact as an opportunity to review the entire account, round it out, and market as needed.
Informs and educates clients about policy coverages, changes, exclusions, and insurance coverage needs.
Provides technical support to producer(s) to benefit clients and support the agency’s strategic business goals.
Prepares proposals in coordination with producer(s).
Submits applications to eligible and appropriate carriers.
Obtains client signatures on applications as necessary; follows up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies.
Manages clients’ needs by producing binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and related items, verifying their accuracy.
Prepares summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals as needed for account reviews.
Remarkets renewals, contacts clients, creates renewal proposals, and handles other renewal activities in coordination with producer(s).
Renews policies following agency standards; verifies each renewal’s accuracy and ensures all renewals are produced.
Requirements
5+ years’ experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager supporting clientele within Florida.
Full knowledge of insurance products, markets, and usage.
Adequate knowledge of rating procedures, coverage, and industry operations to effectively manage, maintain, and underwrite assigned client and prospect lists.
Active P&C 2-20 license required.
Applied Epic proficiency preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
CIC or CRIS designations preferred.
