About this role
Role Overview
- Analyze business needs to define IT solutions.
- Lead / prepare / participate in business requirements workshops to specify IT solutions.
- Make impact analysis and effort estimates to advocate, get approval, then document the IT solution using effective methods and interacting with both business users and the IT project team.
- Support the development of solutions and monitor the velocity of the team.
- Support test quality assurance activities and user acceptance tests.
- Support Product Owners in handling their backlogs and prioritize work to be done.
- Document User Stories effectively so they can be clearly understood by Front End, Back End developers and Quality Assurance.
- Identify and convey the impacts on Business processes to support change management in Business units via train the trainer documents and procedures.
- Build a solid, reusable and thorough system documentation to be used by any stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or any combination of equivalent education and experience
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
- Project experiences in Scrum mode
- Experience and knowledge in the insurance field, an asset
- Experience and knowledge of applications in a web
- Mastery of JIRA, Confluence & DNG
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
