About this role
Role Overview
- Plan and conduct wound rounds, maintain wound documentation and prepare wound anamnesis
- Implement optimal wound prevention and avoid or minimize pain
- Support treating physicians with conventional wound care
- Train nursing staff (instruction and guidance on wound care, infection prevention)
- Document individual basic and treatment care of residents (medication administration, care protocols, etc.)
- Ensure nursing quality together with the team
- Serve as a compassionate point of contact for residents and their families
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a registered nurse, geriatric nurse and/or health and nursing professional with additional qualification in wound management
- Team player with empathy when interacting with residents and colleagues
- Independent and solution-oriented working style
- Willingness to work across all shifts
- Basic IT affinity
