Senior Consultant, Outsourcing / Third-Party Risk Management

Role Overview

• Develop and implement enterprise-wide third-party risk management strategies and frameworks.
• Support special audits in audit-related advisory engagements.
• Review risk assessments, assist with due diligence processes, monitor ongoing contracts, and support contract termination activities.
• Build and maintain client relationships and develop new business opportunities, including preparing proposals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices—particularly regarding contractual agreements.
• Assume independent (partial) project responsibility at the Senior Consultant level after onboarding, lead and mentor teams, and promote innovation and continuous improvement.
• Design, deliver, and facilitate seminars and workshops, and support publications on compliance topics.

Requirements

• University degree (e.g., law, business law) and ideally a certification as an Information Security Officer or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of professional and project experience, preferably in external consulting in information security, governance, data protection, compliance, or risk management.
• Interest in providing direct advisory services at department and executive levels.
• Ideally some (partial) project management and/or leadership experience (relevant from the Senior Consultant role onwards).
• Excellent communication skills, business-fluent German and fluent English.
