Wound Care Manager – Specialized Nursing Service

Role Overview

• Professional treatment of chronic and/or hard-to-heal wounds
• Electronic wound documentation
• Counseling, support and education for patients and their relatives
• Close collaboration with other parties involved in wound care to ensure optimal patient treatment
• Ensuring prescription and supply management
• Maintaining and expanding the existing client base
• Compliance with legal regulations and guidelines

Requirements

• State-recognized qualification as a nurse (e.g., general nurse, pediatric nurse, geriatric nurse) or qualified nursing professional
• Professional experience in wound care is an advantage but not required
• Completed additional training as a wound care specialist or willingness to undertake such training
• Strong communication skills and a good understanding of patient needs
• Reliable and responsible working style
• Valid driving license (class B or equivalent)
