Manager, Fresh & Service Counter

Role Overview

• You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store
• You confidently balance demand-driven purchasing with efficient sales turnover
• You ensure product availability and the accuracy of the figures in your area of responsibility
• Together with your team, you present products attractively
• You advise and serve customers — acting as a role model for your team
• You are responsible for the service counters
• You ensure optimal performance of the relevant refrigerated shelves and chests in the self-service area
• Your careful staff scheduling motivates, develops and inspires employees

Requirements

• Completed training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh-food sector (Fachverkäufer/-in) or as a butcher (m/f/d)
• Ideally a master craftsman's certificate in butchery or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
• Preferably some initial leadership experience in counter service
• Excellent knowledge of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
• A sociable, responsible team-player personality
