About this role
Role Overview
Assist in building and maintaining financial models for valuation, return analysis, and scenario planning.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry assessments to support deal theses.
Analyze target company financial statements and operational metrics.
Support due diligence activities across functional workstreams (Finance, HR, Legal, Operations, etc.).
Prepare materials for internal stakeholders, including business cases, investment memos, and executive level presentations.
Assist in tracking deal timelines, coordinating project tasks, and maintaining documentation.
Partner with cross-functional teams to support integration planning, tracking, and reporting.
Help monitor performance against acquisition objectives and synergy targets.
Work closely with internal partners to gather data, analyze findings, and present insights.
Support communication of key analyses and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Up to 5 years of experience in Finance, Investment Banking, Consulting, Corporate Development, or relevant internships.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including comfort working with financial models and large datasets.
Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; exposure to financial modeling is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
MBA or comparable graduate degree (preferred)
Internship or entry level experience in M&A, corporate finance, financial planning, investment banking, or similar (preferred)
Familiarity with valuation techniques (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions) (preferred)
Curiosity, learning mindset, and passion for understanding how businesses create value (preferred).
