Provide operational support for health, welfare, retirement, leave, and statutory benefits programs across the Americas region.
Manage employee benefits inquiries and escalations through the SNOW ticketing system, ensuring timely triage, resolution, and clear communication.
Serve as a primary point of contact for brokers, carriers, TPAs, PBMs, COBRA administrators, and leave vendors; actively manage escalations and hold vendors accountable to SLAs.
Support annual renewals by coordinating census data, reviewing pricing, validating assumptions, and partnering with leadership on recommendations.
Review vendor invoices, eligibility files, and claims reports for accuracy; coordinate corrections with Payroll and Finance as needed.
Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, including U.S. federal and state requirements (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA), Canadian provincial frameworks, and statutory programs in Mexico and Colombia.
Maintain compliance calendars and support audits, regulatory filings, and documentation standards.
Process limited benefits transactions in Workday and ensure data integrity across systems.
Collaborate closely with HRBPs, Payroll, Finance, Legal, AskHR, and Global Benefits leadership to support onboarding, terminations, mobility cases, and organizational changes.
Exercise sound judgment within established governance frameworks and seek leadership alignment before implementing policy or strategic changes.
Identify recurring service issues or process gaps and recommend improvements in coordination with leadership.
Stay current on evolving benefits legislation and market practices across the Americas through ongoing professional development and broker engagement.
Requirements
7+ years of progressive, dedicated benefits experience (not generalist HR).
Demonstrated experience managing vendors, renewals, escalations, and compliance-related activities.
Strong working knowledge of U.S. benefits legislation; exposure to Canada, Mexico, and Colombia preferred.
Experience supporting audits, regulatory filings, or compliance oversight activities.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively and operate within leadership-directed governance structures.
Strong communication skills and consistent follow-through.
Experience with Workday and ticketing systems (SNOW preferred).
High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
CEBS, SHRM-SCP, CBP, or related professional certifications preferred.
