Lead and provide disciplinary management for the Order Processing Group, currently consisting of 15 employees
Ensure professional and on-time processing and execution of orders from the disciplines of design/engineering, electrical documentation, 3D layout planning and geographic information systems (GIS)
Prioritize orders, carry out personnel deployment planning, and monitor work results and quality
Conduct coordination meetings and capture scopes of service and deliveries with clients and/or external service providers
Further develop processes and governance
Administer and further develop the system landscape at TPPI
Select and evaluate suitable external service providers, review and assess proposals, develop and maintain specifications and bills of quantities/service descriptions, and initiate procurement processes
Manage, monitor and control contracted services
Requirements
Completed technical degree, ideally in mechanical engineering
Very good skills in operating and administering 2D and 3D CAD systems
Several years of professional experience as a design, project or operations engineer in a comparable industry; extensive knowledge of steelworks is an advantage
Strong analytical and conceptual skills, a pronounced sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently, proactively and reliably
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, and a high degree of empathy
Good English skills and confident use of MS Office
