Lead the planning and execution of end-to-end technology initiatives within the ET&D Portfolio, offering technical leadership
Act as a Trusted Technical Advisor to ensure the right technology partners are engaged to execute project deliverables and support keeping projects/programs on track
Escalate gaps as needed to eliminate technical barriers
Support planning at all levels to understand the work, responsibilities and dependencies to set the right expectations, ultimately enabling on-time delivery of the right technical solution while removing ambiguity
Collaborate with Technology stakeholders to define the high-level architecture and key solution components
Effectively manage financials/budget ensuring approval of funding and be disciplined in cost management
Proper engagement of Business and Technology stakeholders, vendors and management governance forums to ensure timely, transparent and effective decision making
Facilitate meetings, document and follow up on risks, action items, issues and decisions
Complete project evaluations, velocity metrics and assessment of results to the key benefits and performance indicators
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing technology initiatives throughout the full life cycle
Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related technical degree or equivalent experience is preferred
PMP, Agile, Scrum Master, Lean Six Sigma or Organizational Change Management Certification is a major asset
Strong knowledge with hands-on experience in Infrastructure and Information Security, including key concepts, principles, and terminology is preferred
Exposure to both large and small corporate cultures is preferred
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently, effectively organizing and coordinating senior cross-functional teams, fostering close collaboration and cooperation.
Strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with hands-on experience in resolving technical impediments and managing the closure of RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies
Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the confidence to effectively engage senior technical audiences
Experience in vendor management, including facilitating and maintaining relationships, supporting the negotiation of contracts and supporting the vendor selection processes
Proven delivery track record in both business and Technology projects
Proven ability in Risk Management and Issue Resolution leveraging the Bank's policies and procedures
Proven experience in a highly collaborative, customer-focused environment with the ability to adapt and pivot quickly when needed
