Coordinate and monitor all stages of ocean import shipments, from opening the SI (Shipping Instruction) or coordinated RO (Routing Order) to confirmation of document submission;
Keep clients and agents supplied with information regarding shipments, aiming to ensure service satisfaction and continuous improvement;
Follow the strategy defined for the FCL import product together with the sales and pricing teams to achieve Grupo Craft targets;
Coordinate receipt of new shipping instructions (origin/internal/client) and verify basic and mandatory information;
Identify discrepancies and ensure they are entered into the system;
Send the SI (Shipping Instruction) to the agent with complete data and continuously follow up until the agent confirms the shipment. Pay attention to the Incoterm for the flow;
Continuously follow up with agents on all shipment stages, from receipt of the booking to confirmation of the batch shipment, keeping clients informed and updated on every step;
Keep the corporate system updated according to events that occur during the shipment flow;
Finalize shipments with accurate timing and documentary information, updating the system, the client and the documentation team;
Contact clients indicated by agents who booked the shipment directly at the destination (Routing Order) to obtain cargo status and estimated shipment date;
Encourage development of the relationship between the client and the shipment coordinator through calls and meetings (internal or external meetings subject to immediate management approval).
Requirements
Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in International Trade, International Relations, Business Administration, or related fields;
Advanced conversational English — will serve clients in the USA;
Spanish is a plus;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office;
Preferably experience working with freight forwarders and/or NVOCCs;
Knowledge of import routines and procedures;
Ability to interpret scenarios, positive attitude, curiosity, willingness to learn and dynamism;
Experience with the import process in the United States is a plus.
