Define and continuously evolve organizational standards and guardrails for secure, resilient, and high-quality software delivery (design, coding, testing, CI/CD, and release management)
Translate regulatory and risk requirements into scalable engineering principles, reusable patterns, and practical implementation guidance
Drive adoption of DevSecOps, automation-first practices, and integrated security controls across delivery teams
Establish and align non-functional requirements including security, resilience, performance, observability, and maintainability
Promote sustainable software design principles such as modularity, separation of concerns, testability, and long-term maintainability across legacy and modern systems
Guide tooling strategy related to version control, CI/CD, code quality, and security scanning
Provide architectural advisory in complex cross-team initiatives and collaborate with the broader architect community to ensure alignment with SEB’s target architecture
Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery predictability, quality, and compliance across the organization
Requirements
Deep understanding of modern software delivery practices, including DevOps, secure-by-design, and automation strategies
Strong architectural expertise across monolithic, modular, and distributed systems, including API-driven and integration-heavy environments
Solid knowledge of CI/CD design and integration of quality and security controls into delivery pipelines
Strong grasp of software design principles such as clean architecture, modularity, separation of concerns, and testability
Strong stakeholder management, communication skills, and a pragmatic mindset
Experience operating in regulated or risk-aware environments where compliance and engineering excellence must coexist
Proven ability to influence engineering standards and ways of working across multiple teams
Ability to balance organizational guardrails with team autonomy
Fluency in English, as you will be working with colleagues across Baltic countries.
