Conduct in-depth discovery, data-flow mapping, and documentation of customer environments (on-site or remotely)
Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to a wide range of stakeholders (e.g. C-level executives, developers, DBAs, IT security)
Lead and manage Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) and participate in RFI/RFP responses
Architect, install, and configure Protegrity’s software solutions tailored to customer needs
Write detailed solution design and project planning documents using standardized formats
Collaborate with internal sales teams, partners, and professional services to align on customer outcomes
Provide ongoing mentorship and guidance to other Solution Engineers and Services personnel
Regularly leverage cloud labs (AWS, Azure, GCP) to validate capabilities and support customer scenarios
Commit to continuous learning through certifications, hands-on lab work, and staying current on data privacy and cybersecurity trends
Maintain accurate records in CRM and other presales applications
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience (e.g., 4+ years in a similar technical role)
8+ years of experience in technical solution engineering, consulting, or presales roles within data, security/privacy, or adjacent enterprise software domains
Demonstrated success leading technical engagements in complex enterprise environments
Solid understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and hybrid deployments
Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
Experience working directly with customers, including C-level discussions and technical stakeholders
Strong organizational skills with a consultative mindset and business outcome orientation
Adaptability and a strong willingness to learn and adopt emerging technologies, including GenAI, to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving technical landscape.
