Lead and coordinate product recall and removal activities for non-food products, from initiation through closure.
Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements that prohibit the sale of certain products or products containing specific ingredients/components in identified jurisdictions.
Ensure all recall, removal, and jurisdictional limitation activities are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations, including required notifications to regulatory agencies and customers.
Partner with legal, supply chain, merchandising, customer service, and other teams to ensure effective recall, removal, and jurisdictional limitation management and communication.
Directly supervise senior analysts, providing coaching, direction, and support for their work in product research and the execution of recalls and removals.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 2 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area.
2 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
Proven experience in compliance management and regulatory compliance within complex organizational environments.
Strong skills in stakeholder management and effective communication with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Expertise in policy development, drafting, and updating procedures aligned with evolving laws and regulations.
Ability to conduct thorough risk analysis and identify compliance gaps, recommending strategic solutions.
Demonstrated capability in process improvement and managing data-driven compliance reporting.
