About this role

Supports Applied Material’s export compliance program with a primary focus on deemed export licensing and technology controls.
Prepare, draft, and submit deemed export license applications and related documentation.
Coordinate inputs with Engineering, R&D, HR, Legal, Security and other relevant stakeholders.
Track licensing status, timelines, and agency requests; manage follow-ups and maintain clear internal communication.
Develop, implement, and maintain Technology Control Plans for controlled technology and projects involving foreign national access.

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience) in Supply Chain, International Business, Engineering, Legal Studies, or related field.
2 – 4 years of experience in export compliance, trade compliance, HR compliance, security compliance, or related operational compliance role.
Working knowledge of U.S. export control concepts (e.g., EAR/ITAR fundamentals, controlled technology, foreign national access, recordkeeping).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal) with comfort working cross-functionally.
