Provide safety and compliance training and professional development
Respond to service calls from the public, transit services, and emergency resources related to safety issues
Communicate with the City’s emergency services
Monitor unit equipment functionality and conduct investigations
Requirements
Diploma or certificate representing two (2) years of study at a community college in public safety (Police/Fire/Paramedic/Communications)
At least two (2) years of experience in transit services, emergency services, or in a call centre, with experience using a computer, communication tools, and CCVR technology (CCTV/closed‑circuit video recording)
Valid Standard First Aid, CPR, or AED certificate
Working knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada, related federal and provincial legislation, and the Municipal Transit By‑law
