Working Student, Product Security

Role Overview

• Support our Product Security team in strengthening the security of our products and ensuring adherence to secure development standards.
• Collaborate closely with security engineers and development teams and contribute to initiatives that enhance our overall security posture and best‑practice implementation across the organization.
• Assist in the adoption and execution of product security processes within software development teams.
• Support process management activities within the security organization, including the continuous improvement, monitoring, and documentation of processes to ensure transparency, efficiency, and consistent execution across teams.
• Support vulnerability assessments, security reviews, and analysis of potential risks within product features.
• Analyze security‑related data and metrics to create documentation, reports, and dashboards that improve security visibility.
• Participate in security‑related discussions, reviews, and team meetings to help facilitate collaboration and awareness.
• Actively contribute to Digital Brand Protection activities, including the independent execution or support of processes to detect, assess, and respond to brand misuse, fraudulent domains, and other external threats impacting the company’s digital brand presence.

Requirements

• Enrolled student at a university or college in the field of Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages such as German are a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of application security concepts, secure development practices, and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10) is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools such as GitHub, Jira, security scanners, or related technologies is an advantage.
• Interest in Digital Brand Protection (e.g. phishing domain analysis, brand monitoring, dark web analysis).
