Key participant for selling the company's products or services developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts.
Responsibility may include finding, generating and developing new distribution partners in order to sell the company's products to end-users
Helps to create awareness and demand for company products
Pursue sales leads
Participates in visits to existing and new customers
Analyze customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
Respond to customer enquiries; and conclude sales orders to meet established revenue targets
Innovate / create sales skills and knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers
Assists in supplier audits on site at distributor warehouse locations
Identify and implement efficiency opportunities such as distributor dashboards, etc.
Helps to Initiate regular communication with distributors to mitigate shipment errors and discrepancies
Requirements
A bachelor’s in engineering (preferably mechanical/electrical or electronic), or a business degree with significant experience in a technical environment.
Significant sales and marketing experience at a senior level in Business-to-Business key account management in an industrial environment. Distribution sales and management experience will be a strong plus.
Experience of working with sensors and industrial automation products is preferable.
