Processing payroll for commercial employees, working students, and marginally employed staff
Maintaining employee master data and personnel files
Recording and managing company pension schemes
Sole responsibility for reporting, notifications, and certification
Point of contact for employees on all payroll-related matters
Liaising with authorities, health insurance providers, and social security agencies
Participating in and supporting internal audits and external financial audits
Requirements
Completed training/certification as a payroll accountant
Several years of professional experience in payroll accounting
Solid knowledge of income tax, employment, and social security law
Confident handling of complex payroll matters such as occupational pension schemes (bAV), one-time payments, allowances, parental leave, and maternity protection
Understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and collaboration with time-management and HR systems
Ideally experience in process optimization or working with digital payroll tools (Paisy/ADP)
Precise and structured working style — especially during peak periods such as month-end or year-end closings
Strong service and solution orientation
Reliable handling of confidential data
Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, and clear task prioritization
Numerical affinity and good understanding of reporting, analysis, and interfaces to Finance
