Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners like Security Integrators, Security Consultants, General Contractors, Construction managers, and Architects to position the company as a trusted partner.
Identify bid opportunities through Security Integrators, GC invitations, project leads, and industry networking.
Attend pre-bid meetings and coordinate with GCs to clarify scope, schedule, and bid requirements.
Develop competitive proposals and pricing strategies to secure awarded contracts.
Negotiate scope changes, VE options, and contract terms to maintain profitability.
Review architectural drawings, specifications, and hardware schedules to develop accurate product offering.
Help oversee awarded projects through submittal, approval, procurement, and delivery phases.
Collaborate with internal project management and logistics teams to align schedules and ensure timely material releases.
Maintain communication with GCs, superintendents, and site personnel regarding project status, changes, and delivery coordination.
Support field teams or subcontractors to resolve on-site issues related to scope or installation.
Keep accurate bid logs, project status updates, and pipeline forecasts in CRM or project management systems.
Collaborate with accounting and operations to ensure proper billing, documentation, and closeout.
Participate in regular team meetings to review upcoming bids, workload, and strategic targets
Requirements
7–10 years of experience in commercial doors, frames, hardware, or access control sales
Proven success working with security integrators, architects, consultants, end users, general contractors and create solution for project environments.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and hardware sets.
Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Office/CRM systems.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or Business preferred (or equivalent experience).
