Proactive management and development of our healthcare customers (pharma, biopharma, medtech, clinical trials)
Preparation of quotes, costings and customer-specific presentations, taking GDP requirements and temperature-controlled transport solutions into account
Independent price determination and margin calculation in the area of Air Freight Healthcare (passive/active solutions, charter, OBC, express)
Handover of won orders to our operational teams, ensuring all compliance and quality requirements are met
Close communication with our international healthcare network as well as carriers and specialised service providers
Support for field sales in scheduling appointments and in the preparation and follow-up of customer meetings
Handling of national and international tenders in the area of Healthcare Air Freight
Conducting needs analyses as well as active pre
and after-sales support, e.g. at trade shows and customer events
Continuous competitor and market monitoring in the healthcare and pharmaceutical air freight market
Maintenance and documentation of all activities in our CRM system.
Requirements
Completed commercial training in forwarding/logistics or equivalent qualifications
Several years' experience in air freight, ideally in healthcare, pharma or temperature-controlled transports
Solid knowledge of GDP; understanding of quality requirements and sensitive supply chains is an advantage
Strong customer and service orientation, with a high awareness of quality
Structured, analytical and independent working style with a clear focus on results and profitability
Strong time and priority management skills
Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel; CRM experience is an advantage
Very good written and spoken German and English skills; additional languages are a plus.
