About this role
Role Overview
- Drives initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function
- Responsible for developing and managing cross functional, technology led, or product focused programs.
- Interfaces with contractors, suppliers, customers and internal functions
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
- May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
Requirements
- advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience)
- Demonstrated experience in a role related to Power Electronics
- Proven experience designing Jira Software workflows, leveraging JQL, and implementing automation to streamline deployments and issue tracking.
- Strong command of Git and distributed version control best practices across GitHub and Bitbucket, plus familiarity with SVN.
- Significant communication skills, both written and verbal, including experience presenting to executive level stakeholders.
- Ability to interact effectively with different business departments and team members.
