Role Overview
The candidate will join the FX Sales Desk team, working daily on the closing routines for members' FX transactions, analyzing and classifying operations according to their most appropriate purpose, and maintaining a close relationship with the Treasury Desk (owner) for currency pricing and any necessary transaction adjustments.
Review, verify and assess the control of executed transactions, maintaining appropriate communication and professional conduct.
Ability to be organized, disciplined and execution-oriented.
Flexibility and ease of working in a dynamic environment.
Strong ability to follow policies and regulations.
Provide consultative support to cooperatives and members on products involving foreign exchange and international trade operations.
Monitor members' journeys with empathy and responsibility for completing processes, demonstrating proactivity and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Requirements
Completed degree, preferably in International Trade, Business Administration or Economics.
Knowledge of spot FX operations and trade finance.
Desirable knowledge of currency derivatives and related products.
Previous experience on an FX desk is a plus.
Familiarity with the Exchange FX system is a plus.
Prior experience in the financial market is a plus.
Intermediate or advanced English (reading, writing and speaking).
Advanced Excel proficiency.
Ability to relate to diverse audiences.
Ability to remain calm and respond positively in a constantly pressured environment.
Good organizational sense and the ability to manage concurrent activities are essential.
