Ensure reliable and safe operation of plant equipment
Coordinate and manage maintenance activities
Analyze failures and root causes and define corrective actions
Plan and execute plant shutdowns
Implement small projects and plant modifications
Lead continuous improvement activities
Identify and lead initiatives to increase plant availability
Identify and lead initiatives to improve cost-effectiveness
Participate in benchmarking activities
Provide technical support to operations
Support BVW, AhA, BBS
Support the project and process technology groups
Seek and communicate best maintenance practices from both inside and outside the site
Knowledge management and networking
Occupational safety and quality assurance
Manage assets in compliance with statutory requirements
Contractor management
Supervise all spare parts handling activities to meet quality, productivity and cost requirements
Perform commissioning and start-up tasks
Update and maintain documentation
Requirements
University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Process Engineering
Experience in maintenance, engineering, or operations is desirable
IT proficiency (MS Office suite, SAP R/3)
Knowledge of technical legislation and regulations is an advantage
Good communication skills (fluent in German and English, both written and spoken).
