Responsible for managing and developing our trade partners, including specialist wholesalers, cash & carry (C&C), office suppliers, food wholesalers and online retailers
New customer acquisition in cooperation with trade partners
Achieve sales and profit targets together with your trade partners
Develop and implement an annual business plan for each channel partner
Develop and execute growth strategies based on clear priorities, focus and market opportunities
Analyze new distribution channels, including planning and operational implementation
Design, plan and implement sales promotion activities and promotions together with trade partners; participation in events such as in-house trade shows
Manage and coordinate trade-channel activities in close collaboration with Marketing
Close collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders – nationally and internationally
Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers at customers, prospects and market partners
Active use of SFDC: maintenance of leads & opportunities
Requirements
Completed tertiary education (university or university of applied sciences) or equivalent qualification
Several years of sales experience in a trade or distribution environment (B2B experience advantageous)
Strong commercial/entrepreneurial mindset with a strong numbers
and results-orientation
Excellent negotiation and communication skills at all levels
Structured, independent working style combined with a hands-on mentality
Confident use of CRM systems (ideally Salesforce / SFDC)
Team player who enjoys working in a matrix organization and across interfaces
Excellent German and English skills
