Responsible for managing and developing our channel partners, including specialist wholesalers, cash & carry (C&C), office suppliers, food wholesalers and online retailers
Prospecting and acquiring new customers in collaboration with channel partners
Achieving sales and profit targets together with your channel partners
Creating and implementing an annual business plan for each channel partner
Developing and executing growth strategies based on clear priorities, focus and market opportunities
Analyzing new sales channels, including planning and operational implementation
Designing, planning and executing sales promotion activities and promotions together with channel partners; participation in events such as in-house trade shows
Managing and coordinating trade channel activities in close cooperation with Marketing
Close collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders – national and international
Building and maintaining relationships with decision-makers at customers, prospects and market partners
Active use of SFDC: maintaining leads and opportunities
Requirements
Completed academic degree (university, university of applied sciences) or equivalent qualification
Several years of sales experience in a trade or distribution environment (B2B experience advantageous)
Strong commercial/entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on numbers and results
Excellent negotiation and communication skills at all levels
Structured, independent working style combined with a hands-on mentality
Confident use of CRM systems (ideally Salesforce / SFDC)
Team player who enjoys working in matrix organizations and cross-functional settings
Excellent German and English skills
