About this role
Role Overview
Identify variations & standardization opportunities in journal processing, reconciliations, month-end close, and reporting activities
Ensure adherence to global accounting policies, internal controls, and compliance frameworks
Identify process inefficiencies through data analysis, bench marking, and stakeholder feedback
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring close and reporting issues
Perform complex P&L analysis to identify variances, Intercompany analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation
Coordinate, support internal and external projects for driving automation solutions
Ensure proper accounting treatment, adherence to GAAP, and strong internal controls
Engage with senior leadership to present findings, trends, and recommendations
Communicate project progress, benefits, and outcomes to leadership team
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of experience
Strong foundation in technical accounting (GAAP/IFRS)
Experience in end-to-end RTR process
Advanced proficiency in Excel (large datasets, complex formulas, financial modeling)
Experience with PowerBI or other BI/reporting tools a plus
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to drive process improvement initiatives
