Role Overview
- Supervise one staff member

- Oversee acquisitions
- Process, catalog and promote the collections
- Monitor the budget
- Welcome the public and lead activities for children's groups: nurseries, school classes and leisure centers
- Promote the library and attract new audiences
- Schedule programming and participate in events and network-wide projects
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of the library profession and its working environment
- Strong general knowledge and familiarity with publishing for both adults and children
- Proficiency with office software, digital tools and online resources
- Proficiency in library management practices and supervisory techniques
- Strong customer service orientation and public service mindset
- Organized, rigorous and skilled in mediation
- Ability to innovate and propose new initiatives
- Experience facilitating activities and events for the public
