Overseeing the Facilities Engineering and Maintenance function
Providing direction and operational support for all Warehouse equipment, refrigeration contractor management, material handling equipment maintenance and facilities maintenance activities
Supporting internal and external stakeholder expectations and contributing toward achieving departmental goals
Managing the performance of maintenance work, both preventative and corrective
Focus on safety compliance and related legal aspects
Carrying out and registering mandatory technical inspections
Advising and initiating action in consultation with the Regional Engineering Manager (REM)
Working closely with the Site Management for coordination of activities
Administering company policies and managing local SOPs
Establishing and implementing metrics
Working on sustainability projects (reducing CO2 impact of Lineage)
Reviewing and analyzing activities, costs, operations, and forecasted data to champion process improvement
Working on site Capex and Opex projects under guidance of the Regional Engineering Manager

Typically have five + years of successful distribution and warehouse engineering/maintenance management and leadership
A recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering beneficial but not essential (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, ONC/HNC or equivalent)
Experience working with refrigeration systems at industrial level
A business background to include competency in maintaining/engineering the various functional areas of refrigeration, MHE, building maintenance, warehouse automation, IT systems, and supply chain optimization
An ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
Excellent communicating skills in English
