HR Generalist – Payroll

Role Overview

• You are an experienced and trusted point of contact for our production employees and their managers — across the entire employee life cycle.
• You are responsible for the payroll and time management of our approx. 300 production employees using P&I Loga — independently, reliably and on schedule; during vacation periods you support your colleagues as backup.
• You handle all HR administrative support for our production employees and ensure accurate documentation of all processes — keeping our data in SuccessFactors up to date at all times.
• You conduct employee meetings, including company reintegration/return-to-work management, with reliable and confidential communication.
• You take charge of recruiting new employees and coordinating temporary agency staff.
• You are the main contact for our works council, attend monthly meetings and actively contribute to company agreements.
• With your employment-law expertise you confidently advise managers and guide processes with poise.
• You bring strong numerical skills, prepare reports, statistics and budget plans, and work closely with finance on monthly and annual closings.

Requirements

• You have a commercial/vocational education — ideally with further qualification as an HR clerk, personnel specialist (Personalfachwirt) or payroll specialist.
• You have several years of experience in payroll within a manufacturing company and ideally already some experience as an HR Generalist.
• You interact confidently and respectfully with employees at all hierarchical levels and enjoy working in a team.
• Your working style is characterized by flexibility, initiative, accuracy and a high level of responsibility.
• You have very good MS Office skills, are particularly confident in Excel and think analytically.
• You have good English skills and are proficient in payroll tax, social security contributions and employment law.
