Drive new business within the Private Client segment through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, and opportunities generated via branch and internal partner channels.
Actively manage the sales pipeline to consistently achieve or exceed individual production and revenue targets.
Prepare and present tailored insurance solutions to prospective clients.
Build and nurture referral networks with centers of influence (e.g., wealth advisors, real estate professionals, mortgage brokers, notaries) to generate qualified leads and deepen client relationships.
Act as a trusted advisor by educating clients on coverage options, identifying gaps, and recommending solutions aligned with high-net-worth risk profiles.
Maintain accurate documentation, policy files, endorsements, and accounts receivable to ensure smooth new business placement, policy execution, and ongoing client servicing.
Partner with internal teams, underwriters, carriers, and specialists to structure competitive, comprehensive coverage programs.
Maintain a strong understanding of personal insurance market trends, emerging risks, and carrier appetite relevant to affluent clients.
Represent the Private Client division at events, sponsorships, and community engagements.
Support RFP presentations, prospect meetings, and internal education sessions.
Contribute to thought leadership content, including market updates, newsletters, and campaigns.
Act as an ambassador for the Private Client brand, promoting professionalism and service excellence.
Requirements
Level 2 General Insurance license or equivalent.
Completion or progress toward industry designations (e.g., CAIB, CIP, CRM) considered an asset.
Minimum 5 years of personal lines insurance experience, including exposure to high-net-worth or specialty/luxury risks.
Strong technical knowledge of personal insurance products, including high-value homes, collections, specialty vehicles, and umbrella programs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Professional, polished client-facing presence with the ability to engage confidently in high-touch or executive-level environments.
Proactive sales mindset with demonstrated success identifying growth opportunities, cross-selling, upselling, and generating referrals.
Proven ability to manage multiple complex accounts, prioritize competing demands, and consistently deliver high-quality service.
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, carriers, underwriters, and referral partners.
