Commercial Credit Manager

Role Overview

• Lead team that partners proactively with the sales team
• Provide leadership to team in credit structure recommendations and credit monitoring
• Assess credit quality of the Bank's largest commercial clients
• Evaluate ongoing credit risks using detailed financial analyses
• Manage day-to-day activities of a Commercial Credit team to ensure efficient underwriting
• Maintain quality of analyses produced and mentor team members
• Meet with clients as necessary and prepare risk assessments
• Provide ongoing training and maintain work logs for productivity reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 9 years’ related experience with three years’ work leadership/supervisory experience
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment tools
• Experience with complex credit structures and syndicated loans
• Ability to lead cross functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with credit risk rating models and loan / portfolio management systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
