Provide timely and effective secretarial support to an office, business unit, department, or other organization
Answer telephones, screen calls, and take messages so callers/visitors are attended to promptly, courteously, and accurately
Perform advanced administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment
Transcribe, type, format, and proofread a variety of materials using Microsoft programs
Build and manage relationships across Humana in support of departmental objectives and the broader team
Coordinate internal and external meetings, scheduling, arranging travel for attendees, and ensuring necessary meeting amenities are available
Manage the appointments and schedules of applicable staff and complete expense reconciliation accurately and timely
Operate under minimal direction and follow standard policies and practices, with some opportunity for interpretation, deviation, and independent discretion
Support basic network management tasks including maintaining shared drives, coordinating access needs, and ensuring functional connectivity for meetings and collaboration
Maintain and update CRM tools to support departmental tracking, reporting, and stakeholder management.
Requirements
5+ years of administrative experience directly supporting Senior Leadership
Proven experience coordinating complex travel arrangements for senior leaders, including booking flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and managing itinerary changes
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, including the full Office suite
Demonstrated proficiency in navigating and utilizing multiple systems and software applications concurrently to efficiently manage tasks and workflows
Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, including strong executive presence and polished corporate demeanor in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders
Models confident, effective communication and consistently represent the organization’s values and standards
Exhibits exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks and deliverables, and always maintains discretion and confidentiality
Demonstrates the ability to balance multiple initiatives and effectively prioritize workload while remaining flexible to support urgent business needs, including availability during nights and weekends as required
Experience with expense reports and reviewing financial documents to align with company policy
