Technical Analysis and Optimization: Refine pricing algorithms and models, leveraging statistical and machine learning tools. Perform quantitative analysis to enhance pricing strategies.
Data-Driven Insights and Reporting: Conduct in-depth analysis of pricing performance using large data sets and advanced analytics tools. Build automated reporting dashboards, provide regular insights, and suggest data-driven actions to align with business goals.
Market and Competitive Analysis: Using advanced data analytics to monitor market trends and competitor pricing, and bring forward recommendations and insights to determine pricing strategies and improve P&L performance.
Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams to develop and implement pricing algorithms and enhancements. Ensure seamless integration of pricing models into revenue management systems and platforms.
Yield Management and Forecasting: Develop yield management strategies to balance supply and demand, optimizing pricing across various channels and segments.
Content Management: Collaborate with the Supply team to ensure that pricing strategies align with supplier agreements and content quality standards. Optimize content and pricing structures to improve P&L Performance.
Key aspects of the role also involve supporting B2B Partner relationships, identifying technical innovation opportunities, and leading A/B testing to refine strategies and make data-driven recommendations to P&L owners.
Requirements
Degree or masters in fields such as Data Analytics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pricing or data analytics role, preferably within the travel or eCommerce industry
