Coordinating the Neuromuscular Clinical Laboratory in the Department of Neurology
Provides customer support for clients, faculty and staff in a friendly and helpful manner
Accepts and electronically receives laboratory specimens for all sections of the laboratory
Oversees the procurement of materials from outside institutions in support of clinical testing
Prepares and sends materials to reference laboratories in support of clinical testing not provided internally
Troubleshoots errors and problems to ensure pre-analytic accuracy
Performs insurance verification for testing
Effectively prioritizes workload to ensure completion of duties
Management & administration of Electronic Medical Records Systems & Information Technology Interfaces
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
2 years of healthcare experience
