Monitor existing markets and customers, particularly in the construction and coatings sectors, and negotiate contracts (price, volumes) in collaboration with management.
Develop market strategies for assigned markets in collaboration with the Sales Director.
Implement the strategies that have been defined.
Coordinate with the Business Development team to track technical priorities.
Identify customer and market needs and provide necessary support.
Anticipate, identify and report market developments.
Prospect to identify new opportunities in the markets you cover.
Grow sales (revenue and margins) in the assigned markets to achieve the Budget and Business Plan.
Develop, monitor and update sales forecasts in collaboration with external customers.
Participate in multidisciplinary project groups to grow industrial ingredients.
Develop new products for the markets you cover.
Track and participate in required certifications and audits for the markets followed.
Travel within France and internationally. Estimated travel: 25% of the time.
Requirements
Master's degree (Bac+5) or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of commercial/sales experience in an industrial environment or in industries related to adhesives, coatings, chemicals, etc.
Knowledge of communication and negotiation techniques.
Customer-oriented.
Ability to work effectively and successfully in countries and cultures with customs and rules that differ significantly from those of the country of origin.
Team player who takes into account the needs and requests of team members and contributes to achieving shared objectives within their areas of responsibility.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
