Posting bank accounts including allocation and correct posting of incoming payments
Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
Monitoring and reconciling open items, due dates and deadlines in the accounts receivable area
Close collaboration with other departments and serving as a point of contact for our customers to clarify open items and resolve issues
Active collections management by handling the dunning process, including efficient recovery of outstanding receivables, structuring payment agreements and pursuing legal proceedings to find optimal solutions
Credit assessment for new customers
Analysis and monitoring of the existing customer portfolio, ongoing control of credit limits to anticipate and identify issues and escalate early to minimize the risk of payment delays or defaults
Reviewing and lifting delivery blocks, master data maintenance, verification of VAT identification numbers (VAT IDs)
Medium-term expansion of responsibilities in collections across the sonnen Group

Successfully completed commercial training (or equivalent) or comparable qualification
Three to five years of professional experience in accounting with a focus on accounts receivable and/or collections management; further training as a Certified Credit Controller is desirable
Strong communication skills and a customer

High level of initiative, assertiveness and negotiation skills
Independent, structured way of working and ability to work in a team
Very good written and spoken English
Experience with SAP accounting software and MS Office is an advantage
